Join Us for an Information Webinar on the Zero Project Awards 2026
The U.S. Access Board will be hosting a joint webinar with the Zero Project on Tuesday, June 3, 2025, from 1:00 – 2:00 PM (ET), to provide an overview of the Zero Project Awards 2026. Focusing on innovations in Accessibility, ICT, and Crisis Response, the Zero Project Call for Nominations 2026 opened today. The information webinar will be hosted over Zoom for Government and is open to all members of the public; sign language interpreting and real time captioning will be provided.
During the session, Access Board Executive Director Sachin Pavithran will provide remarks on the agency’s longstanding partnership with the Zero Project, along with the Board’s work in support of more accessible information and communication technology (ICT) in the federal government. Zero Project staff will then present on the process for submitting nominations and becoming involved in the Zero Project Awards 2026. The call for nominations closes on June 22, 2025.
Each year, the Zero Project recognizes outstanding solutions that remove barriers for people with disabilities, based on their innovation, impact, and scalability. Innovators from all countries and sectors of society can nominate their solutions for the Zero Project Awards. Awardees will be given the opportunity to present at the Zero Project Conference at the United Nations Office in Vienna and receive other opportunities to advance their solutions.
