U.S. Access Board Releases Videos Explaining Work of the Agency

January 12, 2024

The U.S. Access Board’s YouTube channel is a helpful resource for watching Board meetings, shorts, training videos, and animations on accessibility guidelines and standards. The Board recently published three new videos on its YouTube channel to help explain the work of the agency and the resources that it offers.

New Videos Available from the U.S. Access Board

The first video, “Welcome to the U.S. Access Board,” which is hosted by Executive Director Sachin Pavithran, provides an overview of the Access Board, including the development of accessibility guidelines and standards and the enforcement of the Architectural Barriers Act (ABA). The second video, “Learn How to File an Architectural Barriers Act Complaint,” provides a step-by-step guide for how anyone can file an ABA complaint if they encounter an accessibility barrier at a covered facility. Finally, the third video, “Online Resources from the U.S. Access Board,” provides a listing of different resources that the Board offers, including technical assistance, trainings and webinars, and more.

All three videos include ASL interpreting, closed captions, and audio description (AD). Subscribe to the Board’s YouTube channel to get notified when new videos or livestreams are posted.

The Board provides technical assistance on its accessibility guidelines and standards and accessible design through its helpline at 1-202-272-0080, extension 3, and by email at ta@access-board.gov from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (ET) weekdays.
