Scott Windley serves as the Technical Assistance Coordinator of the Office of Technical and Information Services at the Access Board. He has been on staff at the Access Board since 1997. He previously worked at The Center for Universal Design as well as the University of Idaho’s Facilities Planning and Design Department as an intern architect.
Windley received a Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Idaho. Currently at the Access Board, Windley works on the public rights-of-way rulemaking, provides technical assistance and training on the Americans with Disabilities Act Accessibility Guidelines (ADAAG), Public Rights-of-Way Accessibility Guidelines (PROWAG), and other standards, and collaborates with a team of staff on the technical assistance guides. For over twenty-seven years, he has given many presentations to students, advocates, and professionals across the country on accessibility issues and guidelines.
