Thank you for this opportunity to comment on handicapped accessible transportation.
I would like to point out a problem which exists in Texas. The Galveston/Port Bolivar ferry system which is operated by the Texas Department of Transportation has absolutely NO handicap facilities. On an extremely hot day, a handicap passenger cannot use their wheelchair, much less use the bathrooms which are accessible only via steep stairs.
