We cruise..and I have MS so need handicapped cabin. There are so few of them on the ships and then the cruise lines actually give them to NON HANDICAPPED persons...The cruise lines MUST adhere to requiring some form of ID that shows you are handicapped and not allow healthy people to use them.
In addition, so have accessible cabins, which are NOT handicapped and then you arrive and find the wheelchair/scooter wont go into bathroom because of a 6: step up.
Please Please require MORE handicapped cabins and then if not used by handicapped persons, then can be assigned for people who book gurantees.
I have seen many times on the Cruise Critic boards people bragging they took handicap cabin because it was larger.
So the access board needs to require some form on documentation before allowing non handicapped persons to take them.
