I am writing in support of the Hearing Access Program's submission. As the parent of a teenager with hearing loss, I know that is essential that she have the same opportunities to participate in activities as others. These accommodations, recommended by experts and consumers, encourage all citizens to participate and function effectively. The more accessible the environment is, the more individuals with disabilities can contribute to our community.
