Accessibility on cruise lines needs to be provided, just as accessibility is provided on land. For example, films should be captioned and hearing-aid compatible phones must be provided. More crucially, the ships need to be wired to alert people with a hearing loss to emergency situations. Most assistive listening devices are not expensive; most DVDs come with captions, for example.

Please consider the needs of your individuals with hearing loss.
