I applaud your concerns on the access and safety of the HH and deaf population aboard cruise ships. I've been actively touring the United States as well as been on 2 cruises in the last 3 years. I have never seen any access for the Hard of Hearing aboard my stateroom, as well as in the entertainment venues of the cruises I have experienced. For that same reason, it has left a bad taste in my mouth over if I will consider going on another cruise, since it's hard to laugh at jokes when you can't hear it, or if an announcement is made, I would have to ask questions to get a concrete answer. I would honestly believe if there is more access for the HH and deaf population, there will be a better chance of those individuals to have a better experience and become repeat consumers. I also agree with the comments submitted by the Hearing Loss Assn of America. Thank you for your consideration in this matter.
