I wish to comment on the above subject. I have a severe profound hearing loss. Who has benefited greatly from captioning at theaters, meeting places and other places. I am planning to go on my first cruise in August, 2007. The only reason I am going is because I am going with a group of people just like myself. I am hoping that we can make arrangements for the necessary assistive listening devices so I can enjoy myself.
Please favorably enact communication accessibility on all cruise ships. I appreciate your consideration of my personal letter. I support the Hearing Loss Association of America's comments on this issue.
