If your bored members tell all the cities to change to beeping lights on the corners you will make a big mistake. I am a blind mother and my husband is blind, we raised three sighted children and all of them are working!. Both my husband and I travel around Baltimore, Maryland and we donít want your noises. When a street crossing is difficult I tell the city engineers they need to change it to help both sighted and blind persons. This year downtown some untrained blind winers told the city to put in beeps but they are such poor travelers that they are still in danger wherever they go. The big problem is to know what the beep means. Do you cross now or wait. Will the traffic in front of you stop or beside you or on a third street? And my husband and I do not want to pay taxes for your idea of what we need and my 3 children do not either. Go bother some other handicapped group and leave us alone.
