Most architects recognize the ongoing need to keep current on new laws, regulations and standards that affect building design.

A more difficult (and perhaps even more important) responsibility is integrating those requirements into design approaches that meet and satisfy client and user expectations. This course, along with other AIA resources, is intended to provide you with the information you need not only to meet minimum levels of accessibility, but to look beyond the prescriptive to the broader horizon of performance-based design.
