Introduction: Screen 3
ADA Accessibility Guidelines
On-Line Education Course
American Institute of Architects
Most architects recognize the ongoing need to keep current on new laws,
regulations and standards that affect building design.
A more difficult (and perhaps even more important) responsibility is
integrating those requirements into design approaches that meet and satisfy
client and user expectations. This course, along with other AIA resources,
is intended to provide you with the information you need not only to meet
minimum levels of accessibility, but to look beyond the prescriptive to
the broader horizon of performance-based design. |
